For your convenience, we accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. Because we deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, payment is due at the time services are rendered. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at (225) 927-3463. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear up any misunderstandings.

At Dr. Akin’s practice we make every effort to provide you with the finest surgical care in a state of the art environment. To accomplish this goal, we work hand in hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. Although we may not be a provider on any insurance plans, most plans do pay out of network providers and we are happy to file your insurance claim for you. Please remember, though, you are fully responsible for all fees charged regardless of your insurance coverage. Bring your insurance information with you to the consultation so that we can expedite filing procedures.

We offer payment plans through Care Credit. This company offers credit for healthcare expenses and has a no-interest option. If you would like to apply please click the link below.
