  • 2022. Clinical Advantages of Immediate Posterior Implants With Custom Healing Abutments. Abstract: Proper management of the soft tissues around dental implants is crucial to their long-term function and esthetics. The purpose of this article is to report the survival rate of immediate posterior implants when using an immediate chair-side technique for custom healing abutments.
  • 2016. The Anatomic Harmony Abutment - A New Concept in Maintaining the Emergence Profile in Immediate Posterior Implant Placement. Abstract: As the knowledge base in the demanding realm of esthetic management of anterior implant sites continues to expand, there exists a void in the literature on solutions to accelerate posterior implant protocols. This article proposes a new protocol using the anatomic harmony abutment for immediate molar implant placement. This technique preserves the anatomic emergence form with sutureless implant site sealing and improves the predictability of final restoration fabrication and delivery. The purpose of this report is to describe this concept and its numerous benefits to patients, surgeons, laboratories, and restorative dentists.
  • 2014. Immediate Provisional dental implant Restoration: The intention of this review is to put forth a surgeons perspective for a biologically sound, functionally relevant and specialty-specific technique for providing provisional dental implant restoration at the time of tooth removal. This paper will also put forth the rationale for the use of provisionals and suggest that providing these techniques in the OMS office not only serves to optimize patient outcomes but also fills a need our specialty is positioned to innovate. A quick reference guide presented at the end of this article (Page 20) provides an overview.
